The more representative events in Tequesquitengo are: Nauticopa(Fórmula T-1 boat racing) in october Athletic race in December  General cycling events   The Tequesquitengo Celebration of the lord of the Ascensión:    Each third of a Thursday in May, is the celebration of the Lord of the Ascensión with a solemn stroll in boat around the lake, some cultural events, traditional dances and a regional craftery samples.
